Watershed Protection Plan Implementation
The Watershed Protection Plan is based on the results of a comprehensive watershed assessment of local streams adjacent to wastewater treatment facilities.Utilizing your approved Watershed Protection Plan, Southern Water Systems field technicians can facilitate the collection of habitat, macroinvertebrate, and fish community data for reporting purposes. We can provided both field and laboratory analysis for any parameter required by your plan.
Water and Wastewater System Operation
Southern Water Systems Inc can provide you with contract operations of your water and wastewater system. We provide all aspects of consulting and operations based on your permit requirements. Additionally, we can assist you with soil and groundwater sampling as directed by your permit
GSWCC – Erosion and Sedimentation Services
In 2003, House Bill 285 amended the Georgia Erosion and Sedimentation Act of 1975. This amendment included a mandatory training and certification program for individuals invloved in land development. Anyone working in design, review, permitting, construction, inspection, monitoring, or any land disturbing activity in Georgia must meet the new educational requirments and be certified by the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission. Southern Water Systems Inc trainers can provided all Level I and Level II certification and recertification courses. We specialize in onsite training at your location. Let us come to you! Additionally, consulting is available as needed. We can assist you with NPDES permit required sampling and monitoring for turbididty.
